A Bit About Montauk

"Cage goes in the water,  you go in the water"

The popular resort town of Montauk is located at the eastern tip of Long Island, New York where the surrounding waters are filled with a rich marine environment and a multitude of shark species, including the large blue and mako sharks we target. 
Montauk's shark history became famous with record size white sharks being caught by Frank Mundus, who is said to be the inspiration for the character Quint in Jaws. While white sitings are less frequent these days around Montauk, they still swim in our waters adding an extra level of excitement just knowing a true monster could be in the slick at any moment!
